Pregon Publishing on the Road to Europe
Pregon Publishing, part of Seva Holding whose foundations were laid by Şahinkaya Educational Institutions, is expanding into the European market as a publisher that develops innovative, high-quality English Language Teaching (ELT) materials and inspires learners worldwide.
With this export move it is taking confident steps beyond national borders toward becoming an international organisation. Founded in Bursa in 2016, the company works with a specialist team and trusted partners to create effective, engaging and proven learning resources.
According to a company statement, an exclusive distribution agreement has been signed with UK-based HELPCULTURE for the Spanish and Italian markets. Under the agreement, promotion and distribution of Pregon Publishing’s ELT materials in Spain and Italy will be led by HELPCULTURE.
This strategic partnership was formalised with an agreement signed by Pregon Publishing Chair Nurhan Şahinkaya and HELPCULTURE Managing Director Deborah Duncan. The agreement is seen as an important part of Pregon Publishing’s global expansion. As part of the partnership, further collaboration is planned at the Pregon Publishing stand at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair on 31 March 2025.
Commenting on the partnership, Chair Nurhan Şahinkaya said: “At Pregon Publishing we continue to make a difference with our innovative approach to education and our quality content. Today we are exporting books from Turkey to the cradle of the Renaissance, which is a particular source of pride for us. With this agreement, after Spain and Italy we aim to grow internationally by expanding into other European countries, Russia and Central Asia.”
